Localization: Portuguese (Brazil) #11
Comments
Hi @waydabber. I'll procede with pt-br and will let you know when I finish it. |
Great, thank you! |
Hey @waydabber, I did translations the best I could. some of them I did need context on app. but I believe it is ok and I can improve it later. |
Great! I'll compile an updated version with the localization incorporated so you can test it and see if there's anything needed to be changed based on context + provide an updated localization file (with some minor changes happened meanwhile). |
sounds perfect. |
Here is an updated localization file with the new strings (not too much luckily, but these need to be translated as well) in v2.0.10: |
And here is a pre-release version with the current Portuguese translation: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4e6n1le47w0u6ox/BetterDisplay-v2.0.10-b24355.zip?dl=0 |
Here is updated pt-BR file with new strings e some fixes I still see some string in English, I will wait next interaction to confirm. |
Thank you! I'll import this and provide an update! |
I updated the opening post with the latest localization file and interim app version (with all the Portuguese translation included). There are some additonal text that can be translated for the v2.0.10. It's under the "Localization files (to download)" section. |
Here is the new file to v2.0.10 |
Thank you, I'll incorporate it to the release! |
Would you like to make available a new pre-release for a last full check ? |
Just updated the waydabber/BetterDisplay#2165 with the version. But I am just putting together the release so if you want any change, you need to be super fast. :) But I would not worry about it, coding and translation are things that cannot be finished with real perfection ever, always there is room for improvement and there will be a new version where mistakes can be corrected and improvements can be made. :) |
OK. Let the improvements to next release. :) |
Hi @gpnunes75 - I plan to release a new version today. It will have a few new strings. If you'd like to translate them, let me know. If not, that's all right, new strings will appear English. The latest localization files are available at #2165! |
No problema. Send me it and I will translate asap. |
It's in the BetterDisplay.Localizations.zip file found in the opening post of the #2165 discussion (I always update that). Here is the file direct-linked as well: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/files/12731786/BetterDisplay.Localizations.zip Thank you! :) |
here is updated file |
That was quick! :) |
One last question. Do collaborator has any kind of coupon to buy Pro ? |
You don't have Pro? For sure I'll provide a license. |
(For that, please join the Discord Localization forum and DM me or I'll DM you.) |
I updated the localization file in the waydabber/BetterDisplay#2165 opening post to reflect the latest v2.1.0 pre-release version. |
I made some changes in how you BetterDisplay localization works. Here is the announcement: waydabber/BetterDisplay#2165 (comment) |
Here is new PT-BR file. I tried to fork and make a PR, but Xcode ask to commit and I don't know how to do. if you have a tutorial I appreciate. |
No problem, I'll add the translation, you can continue working as usual. If you want to use GitHub, you need to fork the repository under your own GitHub user, use GitHub Desktop to clone it and commit the edits and then create a pull request so I can merge your work back to the repository. But this all might sound daunting. I'll try to add a guide, but doing it the old way is also totally fine. :) |
Ok, I added the changes to main, so we are good. The message in your screenshot warns you about some changes (new things you did) that were not committed to the versioning system. If you created a pull request like this, then these would have been left out. On the Commit screen you should be able to see your changes (in the source code itself which looks different than the tabled view you use for translating) and there should be a Commit button somewhere. :) But I think using XCode for versioning the localization might be just confusing (it works somewhat fine for an XCode project though), it's easier to download GitHub Desktop for committing stuff and pulling changes. For creating a pull request itself the GitHub web interface might be the simplest approach. But as I said, it's ok if you don't want to deal with all this. You can simply download the latest version as a zip file from the repository's green |
the problem is I cant' find commit button on Xcode. No Problem I downloaded GitHub Desktop, pushed then version and open a PR, Please when possible confirm if it is ok. |
@gpnunes75 I will assist you with this translation and its review. |
Great, thank you @giulianopires! |
I believe it is the 100% translated version. |
Thanks, added it + updated the repo with the latest strings. |
Oi Giuliano, tudo bem? Tenho feito todas as traduções para o português. Se você quiser revisar alguma frase fica a vontade. |
Obrigado, meu querido.
Localization now stands at 97% :) |
