Describe the bug
So, using the Best of Both Worlds patcher on completely vanilla files creates a Skyrim - Patch.BSA that contains broken strings. For example, in SSEEdit, Ulfric's Clothes (ref 00062303) shows an ilstring error.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Completely wipe, then install vanilla Skyrim SE from Steam
Run "Best of Both Worlds" patcher
Open xEdit and inspect one of many broken references
See error
Expected behavior
Functional strings. Is resolved by deleting the Patch BSA, but I imagine that's not intended
Screenshots
Desktop:
OS: Windows 11
Game Version before downgrade: 1.6.353.0
Game Version after: 1.5.97.0
Mod Manager (MO2)
Additional context
I've noticed some people on reddit are seeing a broken "..." dialogue from blacksmiths, and this too is caused by the Patch.BSA. Relevant reddit post.
