Put the "PS" logo on the application
-
Graphics button or link should open a new window (or tab if user chooses)
-
Need to think about the log that is kept of each session. The log is updated with some information when the program starts and every time the user presses the Calculate and Graph button, recording the inputs and output of the calculation. In the current program there is a tab. In the new program there might just be a link that the user could click to bring up the log for saving or printing.

Here is an interface sketch from the 3/6/2017 meeting

Current program allows the building of overlayed graphs. Might have a link of the interface that says, say, "build an overlay graph" which would bring up something like the current program's Graph function. Current state of user input is copied to this new window and user could build graphs for a grant application, for example.

Concerning sliders...
(2:44:35 PM) Jeremy Stephens: if we use sliders for type 1 error and power (when the output is 'sample size')
(2:44:48 PM) Jeremy Stephens: these sliders need to be connected, right?
(2:45:02 PM) Jeremy Stephens: because the maximum power i can choose depends on the type 1 error i chose
(2:46:10 PM) Dale Plummer: That seems right and also complicated. I'm not sure this has been completely considered. Can you work around that and we will take it up with Bill at the next meeting?
(2:46:30 PM) Jeremy Stephens: i can just put in sliders for now
(2:46:34 PM) Jeremy Stephens: and not connect them
(2:46:52 PM) Jeremy Stephens: i don't know how in shiny to make the value of one input affect the min/max of another input
(2:46:58 PM) Jeremy Stephens: at least not right now
(2:47:01 PM) Dale Plummer: Sounds good. Thanks.
