Thin Text Cursor Issue on E-Ink Monitors

• Problem Description:
  As a first-time user of this software, I am thoroughly impressed with its overall functionality and user experience. However, I have encountered an issue with the text cursor on my 10.3-inch e-ink monitor. The text cursor is too thin and difficult to see, which affects my reading and writing experience. I have searched for an option within the software to adjust the thickness of the text cursor but could not find one. Additionally, the text cursor does not respond to the cursor settings in the Windows operating system.

• Desired Outcome:
  I would like to see an option within the software to adjust the thickness of the text cursor. This would greatly improve visibility and usability, especially on e-ink monitors.

• Alternative Solutions Considered:

  • Implementing a slider or a numerical input in the settings menu to adjust text cursor thickness.
  • Implementing a button to set the text cursor to respond to the cursor settings in the Windows operating system or not.

Note: I have checked the existing issues and feature requests on the repository but did not find any related to these specific points. I hope these suggestions can be considered for future updates to make the software even more user-friendly and effective for novel reading and writing.

Both can be implemented, and are good suggestions. However, could you please split these into two different feature requests? They are not related to each other, so they will be worked on separately.
