unable to connect to device

Hi,
I connected a VSC7427 using a J-link using pin 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 13 is this the correct way to use the tool?

The tool just need the TDI TDO TCK and TMS signals. You may have to exchange TDI & TDO signals.
Which message have you when you do a "get id" ?

and btw the probe may need a reference voltage too ?

Hi,I got "error, no device found"I just got it working, the ground connection was bad.I also tried using a Xilinx platform cable usb 2 to test this but it does not seem to detect that one (win7) null
