Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I find myself missing notifications, because they become "seen" whenever the notification list is brought up.
For example, if there are 3 emoji reactions, and a more recent comment reply, and the most recent notification contains media such as an image/video, Amethyst will clear all of your recent notifications despite only seeing the most recent at the top. I find this often causes me to miss alerts, as I might tap the most recent response and not think to return to the notifications menu to check the other recent responses. The user must remember to check all notifications once they have committed to checking the alerts page.
Describe the solution you'd like
A smart application would determine if the notification has been seen by the user or not based on whether or not it has been visible on the screen. Perhaps someone can suggest a more short-term bandaid solution but for the moment this seems to be a disruptive issue, personally speaking. Curious if there is discussion about this somewhere.
