Project Description

You are 5 residents at Port of Mars, the first long term habitat on the planet. Your mission is to stay alive and achieve the accomplishments you came to the planet to do. Each round you have 10 time blocks that you can invest in maintenance of the shared infrastructure (upkeep) or buying influence in specific areas. Each round the upkeep level declines due to wear and tear, and without any investment by the residents, the Upkeep will be reduced to zero in a few rounds.

Use Cases

A user can:

1. Sign in with their ASUrite sign in information.
2. Learn the rules of the game via a tutorial that prefaces actual gameplay.
3. Chat with other players in every phase of a round in the game.
4. View their profile statistics.
5. View a log of the history of events that has transpired during the duration of the game.
6. Invest timeblocks to increase upkeep during the investment phase of the game.
7. Invest timeblocks to purchase influence cards during the investment phase of the game.
8. Trade accomplishment cards with other players during trading phase of the game.
9. Purchase accomplishment cards with influence cards during the accomplishment purchase phase of the game.
10. Discard accomplishment cards during the discard phase of the game.
11. View the final results and stats at the end of the game.
12. Take an exit survey at the end of the game.
