How do I use videojs-vr with React?

I followed the steps given over here - https://docs.videojs.com/tutorial-react.html. This shows how to configure video.js and React together but how do I achieve a similar result with videojs-vr? I need to stream 360 videos in HLS format using videojs-vr in a React app.

@knightcube have you ever resolved this? We keep on having issues with especially Safari.
