This error occurs when Turbopack misidentifies the project root due to nested lockfiles. Fix by either:

1. Remove any nested lockfiles (keep only root-level package-lock.json/pnpm-lock.yaml)
2. Or configure turbopack.root in next.config.js to point to where Next.js is installed

Then delete node_modules and .next, and reinstall dependencies.
