I'm launching Hyper on my Windows using wsl. The error occurs when I am trying to open a new tab

shell: 'C:\\Windows\\System32\\wsl.exe',

I am also having the same issue.

this error code means directory name invalid (according to this)
check the path once, maybe there's a difference in capitalization

also try once with latest build from ci here

Even the newest build does not solve this problem. I tried them all. 🤔

I am getting the exact same issue with that build if I have something running already.

I am running cmdr, but the crash happens without it. It also doesn't matter what I am running.

@SebbeJohansson That's on 3.0.2 (from the logs)

@LabhanshAgrawal I sent the wrong image.
Here is the correct one that is from after I updated:
image

Note that it only errors when I'm focusing on the terminal running something. If I split it before I start running it, I can keep splitting the one that isn't running anything.

Does it also happen on opening new tab?
Can you start hyper from cmd using hyper -vand share the logs from there (the ones in the image are getting cut off)
Also try once without the plugins.

@LabhanshAgrawal Good call on trying without plugins. Turns out it's hypercwd that causes the crash. Thanks :)

Since it seems to be caused by hypercwd, closing until someone reports otherwise.

Issue still not fixed by plugin: hharnisc/hypercwd#76
It seems that plugin is unmaintained :(

Anyone can share alternatives ?
