echo "foo" | curl -X PUT -H "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" -d @- http://localhost:8089/foo -v

cat ../tomdawg | curl -X PUT -H "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" --data-binary @- http://localhost:8089/tomdawg -v

possible implementation:

If transfer Encoding is chunked, make content-length optional.
Verifying upload size is optional. If there is no error assume, it went well.
