CloudVendor-SpringBoot

Setup and Installation

Prerequisites

Installation Steps

  1. Clone the Repository:
    git clone https://github.com/vandana-aa/CloudVendor-SpringBoot.git
    cd CloudVendor-SpringBoot
    
  2. Configure MySQL Database:
  • Create a MySQL database named cloudvendor.
  • Update the application.properties file with your MySQL database credentials.
spring.datasource.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/cloudvendor
spring.datasource.username=YOUR_DB_USERNAME
spring.datasource.password=YOUR_DB_PASSWORD
spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto=update
  1. Build the Project:
    mvn clean install
    
  2. Run the Application:
    mvn spring-boot:run
    

Usage

Once the application is up and running, you can use tools like Postman or any other API client to interact with the endpoints.

API Endpoints

Here are some of the key endpoints available in the application:

  • GET /api/vendors: Get a list of all vendors.
  • POST /api/vendors: Add a new vendor.
