How to send local PNG files to trmnl?

Hi,
Right now I am playing around with Hassio and trmnl. I would like to create a B/W PNG with https://github.com/sibbl/hass-lovelace-kindle-screensaver?tab=readme-ov-file and then send it to trmnl. Creating the screenshot works but now I am not sure how to send the PNG to trmnl. The PNG is only accessible within the local network. Is there any possibility to receive it directly via trmnl similar to www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php. Or can I push PNGs to the trmnl server from the local network using the private plugin?

hey @tim-werner ! thanks for asking. we're working on a very simple, thin server that you can run on your own machine (+ local network, no deploys required) right here:
https://github.com/usetrmnl/byos_sinatra

it's almost ready, we just need to make a couple changes to our firmware to support local networking. i suggest giving that repo a Star and you'll be notified, or hang tight and we'll email everyone an update when it's live as well.
