I have checked the following:

  • I've searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

Describe the feature you want to add

I'd like to be able to "clone" a row in the header table. This is to reduce workload when creating and testing endpoints

This feature could be duplicated for params etc. but to keep the suggestion small, current scope is only headers

Postman features a "bulk edit" feature, which enables copy pasting of lines, but feature requests must be small and that is not a trivial addition

You can copy rows in a .bru file to add table rows, but this is arduous and requires leaving the app to do so

Mockups or Images of the feature

Copy icon would duplicate the row, and the contents inside it

Hi @BenSnellgrove, we're working on this feature and we're tracking it here in #185. Thanks!

Thanks, thats great. Is there a timescale on when that will be added?

@sreelakshmi-bruno as in #706, the bulk edit feature is targeted for v2. As the feature has been built but not merged for over 1 year, please can you consider this clone button as an interim solution, to be removed when bulk edit is added?

Hi, we're reviewing PR's for the bulk edit feature and this would likely go out in Jan. Thank you for your patience!
