Apple自身が出したニュース推薦アルゴリズムの論文と思いきや、第三者がApple Newsのアルゴリズムの裏側を探究した研究。面白い示唆が得られている。

位置情報に基づいたコンテンツ調整は確認できなかった
ソースの多様性・均等性などの観点で、アルゴリズムによる推薦セクションよりも人力の推薦セクションの方が優れていた
アルゴリズムの推薦では芸能的なニュース、人力では政策・国際イベントのニュースが多かった
