Error when Loading plugin

When i turn on my OBS with the plugin installed , the OBS doesn't record anything and when i try to end task with task manager , it freezes the OBS.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1.Install 5.0.6 X64 Windows version with the installer.
2.Run OBS and the Target Game
3.Error

There's an error relating to keyboard layouts in the log. What language is your system in and what keyboard layout are you using?

My keyboard layout is in English (United States), my window's language is also English (United States), but i think it might be something to do with my system locale , i'll try and switch it back and see if it helps.

Update : I tried switching it back to English system locale it still doesn't work.

I was having a similar issue with version 5.0.6, the overlay did work, but it was filling my logs with,
"get_keyboard_layout_file [473]: RegOpenKeyEx failed to open key: "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts\0"!
refresh_locale_list [653]: Could not find keyboard map for locale 0000000004090409!"

@twilight159 I fixed it by downloading version 5.0.1 and i dont see those errors anymore + It is working like normal.
Both were installed using the windows x64.zip, and manually moving the folders to my obs directory. Works fine w 5.0.1, but not 5.0.6 so unsure when it became an issue past 5.0.1

my default language has also always been EN-US
