Razer Raiju not detected on Ubuntu

Describe the bug
My Razer Raiju controller does not show up, when setting up the gamepad input overlay, under "Gamepad id"

To Reproduce
Install input-overlay
Add input-overlay source and specify downloaded presets as gamepad
Gamepad id selection is empty, and pressing "Reload gamepads" does nothing

Expected behavior
The Razer Raiju should show up and be selectable
