Is there some more advanced configuration that we need to do in order to get the swash ampersand via Google Fonts? I've tried to use the wonkey axis but thus far have been unsuccessful.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi there. Hopefully this is the right place to post this but please point me in the right direction if not.
We are using the regular 400 and 700 weights of the Fraunces fonts via the default Google Fonts API (i.e. https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Fraunces:wght@400;700&display=swap).
We really wanted to use the swash ampersand character in particular, which is displayed in the preview on Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Fraunces?query=fraunces&preview.text=%26&preview.text_type=custom), however on our sandbox site the more traditional ampersand character is being used.
