@token47: Thank you for the report! We have a new release ( I see in the system information you provided that you're already using that PPA, so simply upgrading authd should be enough for you to get that version. Once you did that, could you please increase the verbosity of the authd service and then reproduce the issue and provide us the logs again? Thank you very much in advance! |
Ok, I reinstalled with latest edge ppa release and enabled debug in all components (authd, the entraid broker and gdm). Here is the new info. NOTE: with this new release, after asking for creating a local password (twice), I don't get that same error anymore, it just goes back to the main GDM login screen. If I try to login again, this time it just asks for the local password (as if the previous process had indeed created the local user already) but again just goes back to the main login screen. authd version

Hummm, I noticed that my login in the directory was actually using capitals (like Andre.Ruiz@...). I just tried to login using capitals exactly like that, and this time it treated as a separate new user, asked to create a local password twice again, and then gave the message "Creating /home/....." and logged in successfully. So this might in fact be related to #530. I'll run more tests. |
I think we can close for now, I could not reproduce it anymore in my tests after using the latest edge. |
Is there an existing issue for this?
