This is not a bug, it is a known behavior on systems supporting both IPv4 and IPv6 (dual-stack).

IPv4 packets going to IPv6 applications on a dual-stack node reach their destination because their addresses are mapped by using IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses: the IPv6 address ::FFFF:x.y.z.w represents the IPv4 address x.y.z.w.

On most dual-stack systems, doing listen(port) or listen("[::]", port) will listen on both IPv4 and IPv6, but the application will only receive IPv6 addresses: the IPv4 client address is converted to IPv4-mapped IPv6 address.

If you want IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to be separated, you can try to disable the IPv4-mapped IPv6 system feature.
If you only want IPv4 addresses on the application, you can use listen("0.0.0.0", port) to listen only on IPv4.
