I get an error Call to undefined function content_types()

Could you be more specific about your setup? I imagine this should still work with the Drupal 6 version of CCK: http://drupal.org/project/cck A lot of things have changed since this was released, and it definitely won't work with Drupal 7, feel free to fork ;)
