As a member of team requesting this.. I think what we really want is a tree-select, this will ultimately have multiple categories of events where the user should be able to select entire categories. Maybe there is a different pattern we can use.

Hey @karoltonik - the Checkbox Group can be set to orientation="horizontal" to achieve the desired behavior. It'll work whether or not there is a "Select all" checkbox as the first checkbox in the group.
