How to deal with people changing companies.

When working in a BD role a couple of years ago, we stumbled upon the problem that our CRM back then didn't have a good way to deal with people changing companies.

So we would create a new person every time they changed companies, to prevent notes from getting hauled over from one company to another, because they were tied to the person.

If you want to maintain solid data hygiene on the long term I would consider linking notes both to company and person in your data model, such that users don't run into this problem in the long run.

EDIT: never mind, I see that you can add arbitrary relations to each note :)
