According to the instructions (and my own experience), this project requires Python 2. However, Python 2 is no longer supported (see https://www.python.org/doc/sunset-python-2/).

Apart from the security risk caused by Python 2 no longer receiving security updates and bug fixes, Linux distributions are now actively starting to drop support for Python 2 (see for example https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Release_Notes_for_Alpine_3.12.0).

This basically means that soon it will be difficult/impossible to install the DataTree module and install/run tvgrabpyAPI.

Are you planning to update DataTree and tvgrabpyAPI to support Python 3?

Just found tvgrabbers/tvgrabpyAPI#52, which basically describes the same issue.
