The Android app lights up a red LED notification when an email arrives. This is very problematic, in my opinion.
An issue was created here, #1287, but was quickly dismissed as "not a bug", but I honestly believe this deserves at least a discussion.
Consider that many people use different colors for different "urgency" levels of notifications. In fact, in my particular case, emails should not even light up anything but a notification icon.
Do you guys think you could at least develop an on/off toggle, and maybe even a multi-color choice?

A small incursion in the codebase has shown this, but I have honestly no idea if this is actually the source of the issue.
