Hi @TheRojam,

thank you so much for putting some love into this module on behalf of #1. We appreciate your contribution and will be happy if you want to continue working on that. As we are not actively using this module these days, we will add you as a maintainer to this repository which will enable you to perform any needed actions in order to sustain its further development.

There might even be a chance that you want to bundle and upload it to Ansible Galaxy in order to share this Ansible role with the community [1,2,3]?

At the same time, we want to take the chance to ping @botto about this and ask whether he would accept the updates happening here into the original repository or whether he is happy that we are taking over here. While being at it, we want to send big kudos to @botto for conceiving the baseline functionality the other day - thanks!

Hi @amotl thank you for this warm welcome. I appreciate this a lot due i just wanted to use this small role for my personal wireguard test server and to checkout wireguard itself therefore i just updated and improved the role itself, since it was very small compared w/ other stuff i found here on github.
This fork was just the most further updated and improved one.

I will checkout how to get this role to the ansible-galaxy in the next days.
