I have been using your code to calculate 3D metrics of buildings in Freiburg, using a LoD2 cityGML file converted to CityJSON using https://www.cityjson.org/tutorials/conversion/, and I haven't been able to find the answers to my question in the documentation
Is there a way to calculate the 3D metrics on the whole Building rather than BuildingParts? CityJSON has flattened the BuildingParts so that metrics are computed for the individual parts, and in my case, these metrics are not representative of the whole building. Looking through the 3DBag examples in NL I see the metrics are also calculated for BuildingParts, but in the Freiburg case, these parts are very fragmented (examples photos attached). Is there a way to calculate the 3D metrics on the whole Building (combined BuildingParts) or is this a limitation of the input data I am using?
I also wanted to check if 3d-building-metrics is compatible with CityJSON v2 or if should I be using v1?
