Use of Triton for GPU calculations

Hello everyone!

I recently discovered Triton and its possibilities. For some experiments, I would like to perform calculations on GPU (or accelerated hardware).
I am currently wondering if using Triton could be a possibility. Another good point for it is the possibility to compile for different types of hardware!

Do any of you use or have used Triton for this kind of thing?

Currently triton supports NVIDIA GPUs only

One thing I am not sure about is the use of Triton for GPU calculations. Is it possible for non-oriented AI stuff?
(To take advantage of the simple syntax and the calculation efficiency).

Yes, as long as the operations can be expressed using triton ops.
