I downloaded MegaBasterdWINDOWS_8.21_portable.zip file from the releases page earlier today and it's working well for me so far.

However, I did notice after adding my mega account credentials that the account's password is on display as plaintext whenever the account tab is active. Might be worth taking a look at.
