Control AuxiliaryHeater (Parking heater) for non-electric cars

Hello, is it possible to switch on or off the parking heater in a "normal" diesel car? I've connected the weconnect-mqtt software with my Passat Variant Elegance 2,0 TDI an I can read data, but I can't control the parking heater! There is noc Topic for this!

Can you control it through the „WeConnect ID“ app?

Yes, it works in the "WeConnectID" App on a Android Device!

Can you post a quick screenshot of the place where you turn it on? That can maybe help finding the spot where to search for.

no problem, if you first want to try it without FHEM you can also try WeConnect-cli this allows you to send commands on the command line to the car.

Tested briefly with WeConnect-cli, heating is running. :-)

Hi, it's just a question.

You have edited an "auxiliaryheating_status.py" in the repositiry "WeConnect-python". I think you have started to add the auxiliaryheating status.

Will you continue with it? I don't know anything about programming, but I would describe myself as a user who is just getting by. Can I possibly provide some input for this?

I would also be willing to give read access, i.e. without SPIN, to my account if it helps.

I would be happy if the status would work.

I have now started again on a freshly installed Raspi Bullseye.

Both cars have a auxiliary parking heater, but I am not getting anything that
anything about it: auxiliaryHeatingSettings with value {'duration_min': 50, 'startMode': 'heating'}
I have attached three files, also shows no auxiliaryHeatingSettings.
I have no idea what I am doing wrong. :-(

I implemented the status after I have seen it somewhere, the question is, why does it not show up for you.

I wrote you this "parsing error" two weeks ago:

I only saw this once by chance, I can no longer reproduce it. The last change in "auxiliaryheating_status.py" comes later.

Do you have any idea what else I can do to get the status of the parking heater? Could it be that something is wrong with the current version 0.48.3? Can I provide any further information that could help to find the cause?
I have already tried another We-Connect account with one of my T-Rocs without success.
Is anyone running version 0.48.3 and getting the "auxiliaryHeatingStatus" ?
