Reset button stop working when going to another page and returning to page without refreshing the page

I am using Data grid search filter in my application in multiple pages and I notice that when a user is navigating to a new page and going back (Closing the page he was navigate to) reset button doesn't work on comparison search. It seems like the search state was not saved and a new one was created. And the drop down widget doesn't save the lest search for associated object.
I tried with Java script going back the app history or clear the input filed but the reset button functionally was damaged.
