While here, I cannot help but notice that Geekdocs requires content/posts but Geekdoc requires content/post.
Making them match would be nice :)

Not sure if I understand the issue. Geekdocs and Geekdoc is the same and if you compare it with the Geekblog theme both will work with content/posts

OK, that was my fault.
My content had front matter used in a different blog setup which confused things. After removing that it's all dandy.

Still, ATOM and JSON feeds would be nice for geekdocs.

As feeds adding a lot of complexity, this has a very low priority for now. Not sure if it is really worth the effort. This theme is focussing on documentation and the "blog" section is more to provide a space to add enhanced release notes.
