I extensively used the feature to generate HTML guides for crags as it was very convenient to save then for offline use where there is no internet connection. However, yesterday I noticed that this is now a "premium" feature. Has this been announced somewhere officially?
I think that it is ok to have a premium fee for beta-features and improvements, but I think putting previously free features of TheCrag behind the "premium" pay-wall... well... it is not a good choice. It feels like a dangerous slippery slope.
I know that this may not be the place for a rant, but I find no other suitable place.

I'm not speaking for the theCrag team, but if you use the feature (or website) "extensively" why not consider becoming a financial contributor (e.g. 20 EUR per year) or a data contributor to support the website?
In both cases you will have access to all functionality.
For accessing the HTML guide now it requires to be level 2, which is 10 EUR per month (or 40 one-off).. In any case I understand this (and most probably I will pay), but I feel that it has not been announced properly (or I missed it?). And I'm afraid that other important features end up behind a pay wall.
Regarding data contributor, generating karma in an already well-established zone may not be that straightforward :(
