Hello,
I have disabled the auto-formatting of this plugin when the editor is in Live Preview mode so that they do not conflict.

This plugin is still fully usable when editing in source-mode though, and the formulas functionality is not native in Obsidian either.

But I agree, it's exciting to see that some parts of this plugin are no longer needed!

Thank you, ok so there is no risk of conflict with Obsidian's tables ? All tables previously created with Advanced Tables have been automatically converted to Obsidian's tables ?

I noticed a very strange behavior in one of my notes : If I write something and there is one or multiple tables below, the writing is lagging / stuttering. Only disabling the "banners" plugin (v2.0.5 through BRAT) solves the issue. Which sounds odd and completely unrelated (furthermore no banner in this particular note).

Linking the issue here in case there is a link with Advanced Tables : noatpad/obsidian-banners#149.

All tables in Obsidian are the same in the actual markdown. Editing in source-mode with advanced tables or live-preview with the new table editor will result in the same table stored in your file. There may be formatting differences, since advanced tables pads the cells so that columns are all the same width.

I don't know anything about the banners plugin, but please let me know if that issue on their repo learns anything that affects advanced tables.

I do think this plugin has its advantage, since editing in the source mode is much more distraction free for workflow with vim keybinding. Also, source code mode is much more smoother than in the live preview. Thanks for the hard work from the maintainer for making this plugin.
