In the ODK spec, section 6, a "reusable spreadsheet data exporter" was specced for the purposes of exporting ODK data into spreadsheets. Because this data exporter was specced in terms of generic ETL concepts, it should be possible to use this data exporter for all CRUD forms (generated and hardcoded) across the system.
