All modules assigned to the Footer Section have an all white background inside the box & text is not shown

This applies to the Jollyany Footer & Menu Footer. I tried to add another section to override this problem, however, I get the same issue (white background inside the box area & text does not appear). I am not able to edit the CSS either because it seems to be compiled even though compiling is not switched on.
