First of all, thank you very much for your incredible content. It is very helpful, and yes, I have subscribed to your channel.
I was trying the setup of RAG explained in your 2024-09-10-buildrag/python guide. The setup was really easy despite some small bugs. I have created a PR to fix them. However, I also noticed that the execution of the search.py script takes noticeably longer when I turn off the Wi-Fi on my laptop. I get the responses from Ollama, but it takes another 10 seconds until the Python script terminates. If I turn on my Wi-Fi and establish an internet connection, there is no delay anymore.
This behavior is really suspicious and concerning, because the main reason for setting up Ollama for me is data privacy.
Unfortunately, I could not figure out the reason. I tried to monitor the connections via netstat.
Do you have any idea? I would really appreciate your response.
Thank you!
