Camera traps often work with bait, which is recorded for each deployment:
none
scent
food
visual
acoustic
other
It is a fairly important part of the sampling protocol, so I wondered how this could be expressed best in Darwin Core. The obvious go to seems sampling_protocol, but note that we aim to control values for this field (see #36). For camera traps, this is already populated with:
camera trap
camera trap: motion detection
camera trap: time lapse
Should this be expanded to:
camera trap with visual bait
camera trap (motion detection) with food bait
camera trap (time lapse) without bait
?
