Summary of Changes

Hello @hjxilinx, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses a max_delay bug in stream processing by implementing a new enableMaxDelay flag. The core changes involve refining how event windows are processed, particularly ensuring that incomplete windows are properly handled and persisted when a maximum delay is configured. This includes updates to data structures and a refactoring of window management functions to improve the accuracy and robustness of stream event aggregation.

Highlights

  • Max Delay Flag Introduction: A new boolean flag, enableMaxDelay, has been introduced in the executor and stream event aggregation operator structures to control maximum delay behavior in stream processing.
  • Enhanced Event Window Handling: The logic for handling stream event windows has been updated to correctly manage and store incomplete windows when enableMaxDelay is active and the trigger type is STREAM_TRIGGER_WINDOW_CLOSE.
  • Refactored Window Management Functions: Several window management functions have been refactored, including renaming SessionWindow related functions to EventWindow and updating internal data structures from SResultWindowInfo to SEventWindowInfo for more precise event window tracking.

Code Review

This pull request appears to correctly fix a bug related to max_delay in streams. The core changes are in streameventwindowoperator.c, where the handling of window information is refactored to correctly manage incomplete windows when max_delay is enabled. This is achieved by changing the stored data structure from SResultWindowInfo to SEventWindowInfo to include window state flags. The changes are consistently applied across serialization, deserialization, and state reloading functions. I have one suggestion to improve code maintainability by removing some leftover commented-out code.

This block of commented-out code seems to be a leftover from refactoring, as the same logic is now present a few lines below. To improve code clarity and maintainability, it would be best to remove this commented-out block.
