  1. Is there any way to stop the palette from collapsing after color selection.
  2. Is it possible to set default white color to selected color

  1. Yes possibly we could have a setting for this behavior @rkunev
  2. White color is not corresponding to any color of the presented hsl based palette. So I would say no.

Coming a bit too late to the party...

  1. As @talamaska already hinted - at the moment you can't. Since the last time this issue was raised though v3.0 was released which (depending on your use case) supports something similar or at the very least has a workaround. As of v3.0 you can pick a color without pressing the middle selector. Here's a codepen demonstrating that.
  2. Well, actually you can have white (luminosity: 100) or black (luminosity: 0) colors in the HSL color model. It looks kind of weird, but if you add a range slider for the saturation and the luminosity it looks a lot better and more meaningful.

@talamaska I'd consider this issue resolved unless @nithyanantham has other questions.

@rkunev 1. I think @nithyanantham had something else in mind, can we add some option to prevent animations on central knob click?
