Hi there! Nice project!

In fact, I was also creating a first draft for an openscience, given any other claude project got an open source competitor (for the better). I haven't taken a deep look but have you considered (these were my assumptions to build something like this on):

• Using Marimo for the notebook presentations
• Using SmolMachines/smolvms for secure executions

Ha, funny timing — thanks for these.

Execution's already sandboxed: sandbox/sandbox.ts confines the notebook/bash kernels to the workspace. Haven't reached for a microVM layer like SmolVM but it's fair if we want harder isolation down the line.

Marimo for the notebook side I hadn't thought about — good call. Not near-term, but I'd take a look at a prototype.
