Generic Raster to greyscale function #4

I have two functions to turn raster data into greyscale

  • Singleband raster: colortable_greyscale()
  • RGB raster: raster_greyscale()

I want to combine the two into a generic approach that takes a 1/3 Band raster and returns a singleband greyscale raster
