Overview
The APIs offered are structured into blocks as shown in the following figure. These blocks are developed independently and can be implemented individually by the pension fund.
The Pension API can be used to query information about the insured person, the pension statement and the insurance policy. In addition, pension statements can be generated as PDF files or already generated ones can be downloaded. The API further allows to simulate the effects of a voluntary purchase into the pension fund and to start a purchase. Finally account transactions of the retirement assets of a policy can be retrieved.
With the Consent API, an application queries for which data the user has given access rights.
The centrally operated Directory API provides information on all parties involved. This includes, on the one hand, pension funds that implement the common API and, on the other hand, applications that access data via the common API. Unlike the other APIs, this API is not implemented by the pension funds, but only once by a central governing body.
