[Question]: Please provide information about future support for Jackson 3

The issue and the pull request have been open for a very long time without any comment from any maintainer. I see that this project is still active, so maybe those just slipped through the cracks.

• Spring Boot 3.5.x OSS support ended June 30, 2026. Community security patches for the 3.x line have now stopped.
• Jackson 2 has open security vulnerabilities.
• Some people have been unable to wait and have started publishing forks of swagger-core

Please, comment on the issue to let everyone know what the plan is, estimate when and how it will addressed.

As the author of PR #5031 (migrate to Jackson 3), I’m waiting for feedback from the maintainers. Please take a look at the PR when you have time — I’m ready to make any necessary changes, rebase it, and port all updates from my fork as soon as someone reviews it. I’m happy to collaborate to get this merged.

In the meantime, if anyone needs Jackson 3 support right away, I’ve published a fully compatible version of all swagger‑core dependencies under the group io.github.vpelikh.
