I think you are missing a fix to vim-repeat that this plugin needs, like I say at the top of the documentation. You need to use svermeulen/vim-repeat or wait for this PR to be merged

I'm waiting to distribute this plugin until that gets merged

Sorry, I thought it's just to make it compatible with vim-repeat, didn't know it's required for the core. Yeah now it's working, I'm very glad to have it back after around a year. Thanks!
