Unable to achieve playback with @superstreamer/player

I got @superstreamer/player v2.0.1 installed, but I'm having trouble getting it to play video.

I put together a test page with superstreamer and plyr.js as a control. They're both using the same master.m3u8 as source, but I'm only seeing playback on plyr. I'm not seeing any errors in the console so I'm unsure how to proceed.

I worked around this for now by using plyr in my website's frontend
