Is it possible to set up a mail server instead of using Outlook?

Can we set up MX record redirection on the server to improve speed and avoid using a mailbox?

The latest version no longer relies on outlook, but still uses cloudflare's Email Routing, Email data is currently stored in R2

Is it possible not to use Cloudflare? I use a domain name provider that doesn't have a worker

That would be a bit complicated and would not be supported at this time
