Are you on latest pre-release (https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/prerelease)? There were theming improvements recently. If you are, then it's OS. I'm on latest win 11 and those are themed correctly. |

My windows may be unique due to how I work it but on Win10 it always has been that the bars for title and scroll are windows managed thus it is Windows system decides the topbar and sidebars same as on 7 it adds Aero enhancements. And it no longer seems to matter if I say System is true or false apart from some effects

That colouration has ALWAYS been problematic and is decided by WINDOWS and never easy to decide what it will follow as it is outside SumatraPDFs remit On 7 it should be Aero same as the system but Windows Theming was changed in Metro8 and 10 can be fickle. One miute red Another black On 11 there should be no problem Back on 10 it changed again due to the settings shown before |

For What it is worth my system is variable thus the one shown above is Both Pro 19045 or Virtual Enterprise 19041 |

@Adeeb0 SumatraPDF for only the most recent pre-releases has been boosted to work with newer theming in windows 11 which Microsoft apparently introduced in 10 versions higher than yours and some of mine. The change over seems to have been according to the developer @ozone10 those newer than 19044 so the current Release Date: 9/20/2022H2 builds or tagged as 19045+

I have changed minimum supported build to 19044 in darkmodelib, since it is currently latest supported LTSC version and it will be supported until 2032. When I get time I will do PR to update it here. Or @kjk you can do it. |

@Adeeb0 in theory no difference but can happen if older copy was not correctly overwritten so wherever exe is look at adjoining date of dll's what you are describing can happen with a mismatch of exe and dll dates or time more than a few seconds apart. @kjk this update appears to have failed |

My first case shown above the exe did not unpack newer dll than exe the dlls were older!
My second case is where the exe has the build date from 12th but the dlls are today 13th so should be good ?
but I had to use task manager to ask for explorer to restart to reload all the dlls again, which can be a quirk of me running in a sandbox, with odd privileges?
