Presently magnus allows zoom factor between 2 and 5. Would you consider allowing no zoom at all?

For me, this tool has become an important pin in the way I handle scanning QR codes off the monitor (which unfortunately is becoming more and more common). I have mounted an Android device so it points at a specific spot on one of my monitors and control the device with scrcpy, and then I keep the Magnus window running at that spot.
This way I only have to point the mouse at the QR code, and it will show up under the Android device's camera and be picked up by the QR reader running on Android. Now I no longer have to wave a phone around every time I authenticate :-)

This works already as-is. But many times the chain breaks down because the Android device's viewfinder fails to read the entire QR code as it is a little too large, even at just 2x. Then I have to close the Magnus window and manually move the original window over to its spot to have it read successfully.

I hope adding support for zoom factor 1 is not contrary to your vision of this tool and that it is easy to accomplish. If so, I hope someone more versed than me in this codebase would consider it.

Thanks for creating and maintaining this project!
