Customers who try to follow instructions in https://docs.storj.io/dcs/comet-backup-integration-guide to set up Comet Backup with Storj DCS backend are confused because some of the screenshots do not correspond to the present screens displayed in the UI.
Please update all outdated screenshots with new ones to eliminate the source of confusion and reduce number of support tickets:
Create a Storj Account
Note that the very first screenshot in this section mentions ¨150GB free¨ - we are about to change this to 25GB so that screen also needs to be updated after April 3, 2023. Below that, another screenshot needs to be added showing the prompt to create an encryption passphrase.
Create a Storj Bucket
Step 5. to 7. Generate a new passphrase - presently the user no longer gets prompted to enter a passphrase here, if they already defined an encryption phrase when they first created their account. So instead we should tell the user that the bucket passphrase that they will later need to specify in the Comet Backup setup will be the same as the one they initially chose for their project. If they do not want to use the same passphrase then they should be instructed to create a new one and switch to the new passphrase before they start uploaded files to the bucket they want to use with Comet Backup
Generate a Storj Access key
Step 3. too 4. Set Specifications
there are now separate screens for ¨Create a new access¨: Type, Name
and ¨Choose Permissions¨: Permissions, Buckets, End Date
Followed by ¨Confirm details¨ screen and ¨CLI access created¨ screen
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
